Although the oil in small amounts is perfectly welcome for our body, its excessive use in the preparation of food can have a number of negative effects. Namely, it is a fat that gives a particular taste, but which accumulates quickly in the body, its quantity must therefore be regulated, if not limited. To find the perfect balance between taste and healthy eating, Tefal has designed an EasyFry healthy fryer that combines hot air frying, grilling, steaming and much more.
Oil is one of the ingredients without which it is difficult to imagine the preparation of food, but even this is possible. If you can’t do without it, it makes sense to at least limit its amount. This is made possible by the EasyFry fryer. You will only use eight milliliters of oil to prepare fried potatoes, while you will use up to two liters of oil for regular frying.
Tefal’s first healthy fryer combines hot air frying, grilling, steaming and much more. Enjoy all the ways to prepare your food.
Benefits of reduced oil consumption
Oils are among the most caloric foods. A small tablespoon of oil contains up to 130 calories and 13 grams of fat, while all necessary fat comes from other dietary sources. Prefer whole foods such as avocados, nuts and seeds which are healthier. They contain healthy fats that will provide many more micronutrients, fiber, protein and carbohydrates.
Foods without oil are tastier. It is true that oil gives a particular taste to food, but the taste buds easily get used to the taste of oil. The more you use it, the more you get used to its taste. Try preparing foods with or without oil, and you’ll soon find that the other ingredients in your dishes have a distinctive, rich flavor as well.
Reduced oil consumption will also have a beneficial effect on yours welfare. Your weight will be healthier, you may even lose some, if of course you don’t replace the lower calorie intake from the oil with other excess calories. Your heart will also thank you.
Excessive oil consumption also negatively affects your energy level. Fatty foods prepared with large amounts of oil reduce the ability to absorb and transport oxygen in the blood by 30%. This effect lasts four hours. This means that your energy level will be lower for hours after eating fatty foods than it would be with a healthier diet.
